Even with all the good news floating around in my life it has been a sad week for us. My beautiful beloved kitty, Purrsia, has gone missing. Pete and I took Inigo for a mountain hike and spent the rest of the day with his parents. When we came home our front door was open. we aren't sure if the wind blew it open or if the cats somehow grew opposable thumbs or what. So anyway, I was expecting Zorro to not be there, but it was Purrsia who was gone. We spent a while looking for her that night to no avail. On Monday we looked for her some more. We started hearing phantom meows that we swore were right outside the door, but she was nowhere to be found. I even made crab legs on Monday night and the smell didn't even bring her out of hiding. Tuesday Pete and I started making calls to animal control and shelters, but no one had brought her in. We made posters and put them up all around the community, but our phones haven't rung. Poor Zorro walks around the house meowing as if he is calling for her. It's just been a sad week all around. I'm hoping and praying that someone found her and they brought her into their life and are taking good care of her. She really is the sweetest cat you will ever find. As time ticks on I am growing less and less confident that we will find her, and it just breaks my heart. I know that not many people read my little blog, but I am putting a picture of her up here just in case someone sees it and has seen her.
I miss you little Purrsia Kitty!! Come home soon!
