Career Path

As I have written before, I currently hate my job, so I have been looking into new careers and there is one that I have been toying with the idea of that I think I may make a reality. I am going to go into real estate. But I figure that since I am only going to be in Colorado for the next 5 or 6 months, that I am not going to bother with the cost of getting licensed here. I have decided that I am going to do online study for licensure in Virginia and then once I get moved there take the test. That way I can pretty much go straight to work. I have been doing my research online and have found a class that is offered through Kaplan (which if I recall is a pretty reputable institution, at least I have heard of it before....LOL) and it's only $199. Plus all Virginia requires is 60 hours of either classroom, distance, or online education for you to take the licensing exam. So I'm thinking, inexpensive to get started and won't have to invest all that much time into it. I could do just 10 hours a month and still be ready for the exam in March. So, I am pretty excited about this. I honestly can't wait to get started.
